I believe in the transformative power of yoga.
Yoga and other spiritual traditions have always fascinated me. Since childhood I loved to learn about diverse cultures, religions and rituals around the world, which later led me to travelling and studies of sociocultural anthropology. With time I grew more and more interested in the ways how people around the world use different tools for healing the body and the mind and became a medical anthropologist. I worked in research related to mental health and became active in several NGOs that explore the use and impacts of transpersonal experiences on our lives.
My first encounter with yoga and meditation was in my teens, but it took me another decade to feel ready for a deeper commitment to the practice. Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga took me on a journey which has turned my life and health around. In the following years I studied with amazing teachers in Czech Republic and in India, and completed a vinyasa yoga teacher training. I am deeply grateful to all my teachers and and honoured to have the opportunity to share the practice that with others. Apart from studying and teaching I also like to coordinate events focused on yoga and self-development.
I currently live with my partner and our son between Czech Republic and Madeira, Portugal. Please, don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions about my work or like to cooperate.
Looking forward to practicing together!
